Here you can find useful client side mods. Most listed mods are for version 1.16+ and focused to Forge

Optimization mods

  • Rubidium is a rendering optimization mod which greatly improves frame rates and stuttering while fixing many graphical issues (a fork of Fabric mod Sodium)
  • Starlight a forge mod that rewrites the light engine to fix lighting performance and lighting errors.
  • FerriteCore is a mod that reduces the memory usage of Minecraft in a few different ways.

Shader mods

  • Oculus a Forge mod that enables client to use shaders (best to use with Rubidium)

  • Not Enough Crashes is a mod that improves crashes and prevents closing the client.
  • Connectivity is a mod that helps with client login/timeout issues
  • No Telemetry is a mod that disables the usage data collection, aka telemetry, introduced in 1.18 version
